Directional magnetic Barkhausen noise measurement using the magnetic needle probe method

چکیده

A directional local magnetic measurement technique as example of measuring the angular dependence Barkhausen noise in electrical and construction steels at typical quasi-static frequency by needle probe (MNP) method is presented. The configuration MNP a half-turn search coil sensor coupled to high gain analogue amplification order filtration stages, owing its very weak induced electromotive force. exploits MBNenergy(H) hysteresis cycle (time integration square MBN voltage signal function tangent excitation field H) brings forth stable indicators possibly related Magnetocrystalline Anisotropy Energy (MAE). Experimental tests performed on grain-oriented Fe-Si low carbon steel specimens, comparison with conventional results were worth validation method. These put front good selectivity over sensors adversely affected transverse fields material surface. Eventually, printed (PMNP) was relatedly described provide non-invasive measurements for continuous structural health monitoring.
